# FAQ

### Why did I lose access to a channel?

Most common reason: You sold below the required token threshold.

Ancla re-checks your holdings on a schedule (set by the community owner). If you no longer meet the requirements, you lose access automatically.

To regain access: Buy back enough tokens. You'll regain access on the next re-check.

### I hold enough tokens, but verification failed. Why?

Check these:

* Did you connect the right wallet? If you hold tokens in a different wallet, connect that one instead.
* Did you meet the holding period? Some communities require you to have held tokens for X days.
* Is your wallet balance up to date? If you just bought, wait a few minutes for the blockchain to confirm.

Still failing? Ask the community owner.

### Can I verify with multiple wallets?

It depends on the community. Some allow multi-wallet verification. Some don't (to prevent token pooling).

### How often does Ancla re-check my holdings?

The community owner sets the schedule. Common options:

* Every 6 hours (for active trading communities)
* Daily (most common)
* Weekly (for long-term holder communities)

### What data does Ancla store?

What Ancla stores:

* Your wallet address (to verify holdings)
* Your Discord/Telegram user ID (to assign roles)
* Verification timestamp
* Holding period data (from on-chain history)

What Ancla does NOT store:

* Your seed phrase (never entered, never asked for)
* Private keys
* Transaction history beyond public on-chain data

### Is my wallet safe?

Yes. Ancla asks you to sign a message (not a transaction). It reads your public on-chain balance. It does NOT approve token spending or move funds.

If any site asks for your seed phrase, it's a scam.

### What happens if I sell my tokens?

On the next re-check, you lose access. If you buy back before the re-check, you keep access.

### Do I need to verify again if I switch wallets?

Yes. Each wallet is verified separately.

### How do I contact support?

Community owners: Join the Ancla Discord or DM us on Twitter.\
Holders: Ask the community owner.
