# The Team

Who's behind Smithii

We are young people having fun while creating solutions.

Smithii was born in 2022 with 2 boys (Jorge & Omar) who didn't know each other physically and wanted to create Management Software for NFT Projects. Since then, we haven't stopped growing and meeting nice people during the journey.

Yeah, we work remotely, but our meetings are not boring. Also, we meet sometimes in person.

11. **Click** on "Create Token" and **accept** the **transaction**.

### How to create my own token on Solana

We must decide on the token's custom properties, such as: **Name**, **Abbreviation** (Symbol), **Decimals** (determines the number of tokens in each lock), **Total Supply** and **Description**.

Name and Symbol

When it comes to **names and abbreviations**, it is best to carry your project name. If you do not have a NFT project, you should look for a meaningful name that has never been used before, but at the same time is easy to remember for the person who sees or hears it. **Marketing strategies** start operating from the choice of the name of your token!

Description

The **description** is where you present the idea behind the creation of the token, write **something simple and straightforward** that defines your SPL token in a few words.

Decimals

The **decimal** number of the SPL token on Solana can vary from 0 to 9. To create for whitelisting purposes, you should use the decimal number with 0. But if you want to create a utility token or an administrator token report for your project, **you should use the number between 6 and 9. The most common is 6**.

Supply

**Sourcing** is one of the most important parts, as we have to organize the financial landscape, this decision is closely linked to the **tokenomics** of your project, in fact we have a [guide on how to design a successful tokenomics](https://smithii.io/en/how-to-make-tokenomics/).

Logo Image

Logo design is another crucial aspect when creating a Solana token. When designing tokens, careful consideration must be given to the imagery and color palette of the logo to ensure it stands out. **This is a key factor in brand identity and attracting investor attention**, so we should strive for a unique and distinctive design.

This section is even more important if what we are going to do is to create a meme coin on Solana, since the image must be representative and viralizable. Note, use PNG format and the size is 1000×1000 pixels.

### Revoke Authorities&#x20;

**Revoke Update Authority** means permanently disabling the ability to modify a token’s metadata. Once revoked, no one can update the token's name, symbol, URI, or other metadata fields. This is commonly done to ensure immutability and trust in a token.

**Revoke Freeze Authority** on Solana means permanently disabling the ability to freeze or unfreeze token accounts. Once revoked, no one can lock or restrict transfers of the token.

**Revoke Mint Authority** on Solana means permanently disabling the ability to mint more tokens. Once revoked, the token supply becomes fixed, ensuring no additional tokens can ever be created.

# Create Token Staking

With our Staking Builder you will be able to create your Custom Staking Site of your Token

&#x20;🔗Create Token Stakin&#x67;**:**[ ](https://stake.smithii.io/)[**https://stake.smithii.io/**](https://stake.smithii.io/)

First, enter the [Solana Token Staking Builder](http://stake.smithii.io/) and click on **"Create now"**.

<figure><img src="/files/mZ0v4mNXfAzUxw2bRhoz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Access the Solana Token Staking Builder: Then **we enter the account information**: "Your Name" and "Project Name" to identify our staking and "Staking URL" to customize the shareable link of our staking.

<figure><img src="/files/aDfpyJZGpAM2VF3Td9Yo" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Important**, in the Staking URL field we will only enter the extension of the URL

2. Click on **"Select Wallet"**, link the wallet containing the staking token and the reward token, and select **"Continue."**

<figure><img src="/files/to6u2ZOYwMKleGHMA4jU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Create Our Own Solana Token Staking Website:

When accessing the builder, we will find an **interface with customization options**.

You will find a window with options to modify colors, logo, background, menu (navigation), on chain setup ( staking setup itself) and upgrade the plan.

<figure><img src="/files/RmWYXNEwKCG8ls7EeRez" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

At the bottom of the interface you will **preview the** color **changes** as you interact with them.

<figure><img src="/files/yWTUJj7c5wDODaGvYiuj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

By modifying the "Navigation" options, you will be able to **customize the menu** of your Solana Token Staking Site. The URL will be the destination to which you will send your users, and the "Tag" will be the text to display. You will also be able to **enter your project's social networks**.

<figure><img src="/files/AM0uqEqeuiNTSx4Lcq4Q" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The wallet you have linked will be designated as the "Authority Wallet" of the staking, and that property will be immutable.

**Staking Token:** The token that your users must lock to receive the rewards, this is the token of your project, it can be a standard token or a meme coin.&#x20;

**Reward Token:** This is the token with which you will reward your users; it can be the same as the staking token or a different and attractive one such as $USDC, $SOL, $WIF, $BONK, etc. This will depend on your strategy and how to encourage investors to stake your own Solana token.

**Reward Token Amount to Deposit:** Basically, it is the reward pool. Enter the amount of Reward Token for that pool. From there, users will be paid for their staking.

**Add Extra Fee:** In the free option, the Staking Builder on Solana you are using retains a fee of 0.008 SOL for each staking, while in the premium option, it retains 0.002 SOL, and you can add an extra fee.

**Reward Token Quantity per Day:** This is the amount of "Reward Token" that will be paid for each "Staking Token" daily, this option will depend exclusively on your strategy.

**Minimum Stake Amount:** The minimum amount of tokens a user must stake to participate in the reward pool.

**Lock Time (minimum staking days):** This is the minimum period of time tokens must remain locked on staking before users can withdraw rewards.

**In the premium version, more than one reward pool can be created**, giving much more flexibility to the developer.

4. Deploy Your Own Solana Token Staking dApp

When we finish customizing the Staking of our token on Solana, we can click on "Deploy", this will work **as if we were creating our own Staking smart contract on Solana**.

We will review the information of the authority wallet, our staking token, and reward token, which we can review and modify before proceeding. Once we are sure, we click on "Continue".

<figure><img src="/files/VgDS6mUekyzkMHjVVrVq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

We will preview the payment information and then we can finish and accept the blockchain transactions; that's all, we have our own Solana Token Staking site.

### What is Bundle Bot at Solana

The action of creating a liquidity pool and being the first to buy, **is known as a bundle transaction on Solana**, a series of sequential and automatic transactions, which are usually said to be several actions in a single transaction, in this case adding liquidity and the first swap to buy the base token of the same liquidity pool.

#### Solana Bundle Botlaunch and sniping in Solana

Smithii's online [Create Solana Liquidity Pool](https://tools.smithii.io/liquidity-pool/solana) tool allows you to launch the liquidity pool of your Solana token and be the first sniper to buy, without the need for complex coding skills.

<figure><img src="/files/Ib42pcO5jAznC1XlboeZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Use Solana Bundle Sniper Bot step by step

#### Set up a transaction Bundle with a single Wallet

To use the bundle feature: **add liquidity + first swap** in the same transaction, you must use the "[Create Solana Liquidity Pool](https://tools.smithii.io/liquidity-pool/solana)" tool (<https://tools.smithii.io/liquidity-pool/Solana).&#x20>;

<figure><img src="/files/3nbEvDiz9gReeH1UyUWK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Configure your liquidity pool, if you still don't know how to do it here is a tutorial to [create a liquidity pool on Solana](https://smithii.io/en/create-liquidity-pool-solana/).
2. Within the configuration options of our Liquidity Pool we will see a **section for "Snipe your Token",** which will allow you to set the amount of $SOL that you want to invest in that first transaction in exchange for your newly launched tokens.
3. Click on Create Liquidity Pool. You **will see your liquidity pool on Raydium** and **the amount of tokens you have purchased on your wallet, all in one transaction and without encrypting anything**.

#### Configure a transaction Bundle with multiple Wallets

Doing it with multiple wallets will give you a more organic approach. To do this you must check the "Snipe your Token" box and follow the steps below.

<figure><img src="/files/UgwKOIu4wXB1jBmbZJy4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Configure Wallets**: Create 4 wallets, distribute SOL to cover purchases and fees, and export private keys.
2. **Prepare the Pool and OpenBook**: You need an openbook to do snipe with multiple wallets.
3. **Configure Bundle** Snipe: Import the private keys, divide the total amount between the wallets and enable the transaction at bundle (Smithii does not store any type of key).

Your interaction will look like the following image, where the first 2 Add and Buy transactions will be yours:

<figure><img src="/files/y5aErUvgazHBMsYddmRb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How does the Solana bundle bot work and how much does it cost?

When you set out to use this feature, you should consider that you need $SOL for the OpenBook Market (from 0.4 SOL), liquidity pool creation (0.4 SOL + the liquidity you want to add) and the amount you will invest when buying your token in that first swap. The best thing is that **you do it all from the same Create Solana Liquidity Pool tool of smithii**.

# Market Maker

Automated bot market maker is a tool designed to simulate market activity

🔗 Market Make&#x72;**:** [**https://tools.smithii.io/market-maker/solana**](https://tools.smithii.io/market-maker/solana)

Boost Token

Configuring a **market maker bot at Solana** is a simple process when using a tool such as [**Smithii Market Maker**](https://tools.smithii.io/market-maker/solana). Here are the steps to get you started:

<figure><img src="/files/4osyEYp3LHo11cb1dhyS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Enter the adress of the token** you wish to push (this market maker works for any DEX).
2. Select the **number of makers** you want.
3. Enter the **volume** you wish to generate.
4. Select **how many SOL you want to spend** (each transaction, due to priority fees, costs about 0.001 SOL).
5. Indicate how long you want the bot to be active.
6. Make sure you have enough SOL to pay the tool fees and gas rates (0.025 SOL per 100 makers).
7. Click on the "*Start Bot*" button.

Target Price:\
If you want to reach a **specific price**, you can use the '*Target Price'* option of market maker where the target will be trade the token until it reaches a specific price.

<figure><img src="/files/MNYrj0ias0cX0jZpmDOi" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In this case, you must determine how much of the initial price of the token you wish to pump by selecting the amount of SOL you are willing to spend.

# Pump Fun Bots

# Pump Bundler

How to create a token on Pump Fun and bundle it

Step-by-Step Guide to Using a Pump Fun Bundler

The main idea is to complete both the creation and purchase of the token in one single bundled transaction using Smithii’s Pump Fun Bundler tool.

<figure><img src="/files/YbMu4m5jHSnS86llKMvj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 1. Fill in the Token Creation Details

* **Name**: Choose an attractive name.
* **Symbol**: Pick a short and catchy symbol.
* **Description**: Add a brief text (maximum 100 characters) that captures the essence of the project.
* **Image**: Upload your .png/.jpg image (up to 1000x1000 px).

#### 2. Add Your Social Links (Optional)

#### 3. Set Up Automatic Buying at Launch

* **Wallet Buy Private Key**: Enter the private key of the wallet that will be used to buy your own token. *(Smithii does not store any keys).*
* **Buy Amount in SOL**: Specify how many SOL you will invest in the initial purchase from that wallet.
* **Est. to Rec.**: Check the estimated number of tokens you will receive.

Repeat these steps to **add multiple wallets** (up to 10). This allows you to make simultaneous purchases within the same block.

#### 4. Click "Pump Launch & Buy"

At this point, Smithii’s tool will generate your token and automatically execute the purchase transactions.

Thanks to the bundler, **all transactions are executed together**, making it harder for **snipers** to interfere before the operation is confirmed on the blockchain.

# Pump Market Maker

Boost Your Token and Become the King of the Hill

What is a Market Maker Bot?

An automated market maker bot is a tool designed to generate market activity by continuously placing buy and sell orders on a token.

#### How to Use a Market Maker Bot on Solana

Setting up a market maker bot on Solana is easy with tools like **Smithii Pump Fun Market Maker**, which require no programming knowledge. Here’s how to get started:<br>

<figure><img src="/files/jOTTmL2e7mqANfyaxdjU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Enter the **token address** you want to boost. *(You can find it on the right side of the screen, below the social links. It looks something like this: 9abiQrX6AxcXThBz46oE2MzwKi1CBkqRRi9q32hmpump.)*
* Select the **number of makers** (i.e., how many simultaneous orders will be placed).
* Enter the **volume** you plan to generate.
* Choose how many **SOL** you want to allocate *(each transaction, due to priority fees, costs around 0.001 SOL).*
* Set the **duration** for which you want the bot to run.
* Ensure you have enough SOL for the tool **(0.025 SOL per 100 makers)** and for gas fees.
* Click **"Start Bot."** Done!

The bot will immediately start sending transactions, increasing your token’s volume to push it into **trending**. This is especially useful on **pump.fun** when aiming to become **King of the Hill** and attract new investors.

#### Market Maker Bot with Target Price

If you want to reach a specific price, you can use the **"Target Price"** option in the Market Maker bot. The bot will execute successive buy and sell orders until it reaches the set price, provided you have enough capital to sustain the process.

<figure><img src="/files/rkI0vCvkIaLhtpYQxWoi" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Set your **target price** above the initial price and choose how much **SOL** you’ll spend to achieve that **pump**. This helps you plan strategically and decide if the investment aligns with your financial goals.

# Comment Bot

Schedule comments to be posted in Pump Fun threads

**Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Comments on Pump Fun**

To use the comment bot, follow these steps:

<figure><img src="/files/8HkrWh3UVHcm18f6qF4J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Enter the Token’s "Contract Address"** – In the main field, paste the contract or token address on Pump Fun. This ensures the bot knows which thread or section to post in.
* **Set the Number of Comments** – Decide how many contributions you want. For example, you can request 10, 20, or more, depending on the level of "noise" you want to generate.
* **Check the Total Cost** – The interface will show you the cost in SOL. According to the screenshot, it’s **0.0001 SOL per 10 comments**. Adjust the number of messages and ensure you have the necessary funds.
* **Click "Post Comments"** – Once you press the button, the Pump Fun Comment Bot will start distributing the comments in a way that avoids looking like blatant spam, instead making them seem like genuine contributions to the conversation.
* **Monitor Real-Time Activity** – Check the threads and forums linked to your token to see the new interactions. Make sure the number of messages aligns with your trading volume—a low-volume token with hundreds of comments could raise suspicions.

Enhance It with More Bots

A comment bot alone isn’t powerful unless paired with other volume-boosting bots like a market maker or a micro-trading bot. If you haven't launched yet, consider using a bundler bot.

* **Pump Fun Bundler** – Launch and buy your token atomically, avoiding bots and snipers.
* **Pump Micro Trading** – Boost volume to rank on the first page or the "Trending" section.
* **Pump Fun Market Maker** – Maintain a stable price and provide controlled liquidity to your project.
* **Pump Fun Comment Bot** – Strengthen the sense of community and legitimacy, aligning comments with the trading volume seen on the charts.

# Micro Trading Bot

Micro Trading generates buying activity on your token through multiple small (or micro) transactions

**Step-by-Step Guide to Micro Trading on Pump Fun**

We will use the **Smithii** tool to increase our token’s volume on Pump Fun through micro trading.

<figure><img src="/files/YpMHeCL761beocOxfv2w" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Select Your Token** – Copy the address of the token you recently created (or one already in your wallet) and paste it here.
2. **Set the Number of Transactions** – Choose how many trades you want. If your goal is to maintain visibility for several hours, set a generous amount (50, 100, or more).
3. **Choose the Transaction Amount** – Set a **minimum and maximum range in SOL** for each trade. The bot will randomly select amounts within this range to simulate organic activity.
4. **Schedule the Frequency** – Adjust the **pause time between transactions** in seconds. A wide range (e.g., **5 to 15 seconds**) makes the activity appear more realistic.
5. **Check the Cost and Click "Start Trading"** – Confirm the **Total Cost** and hit the button. The system will start sending transactions automatically.

# Pump Bundle Sell

Sell Your Tokens in Bulk and Simultaneously

Step-by-Step Guide to Bulk Selling on Pump Fun

To perform a **bundle sell** on Pump Fun, follow these steps using **Smithii’s Pump Bundle Sell** tool:

<figure><img src="/files/r8U62CRRFn7fU31H7mqS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Select the token** you want to sell in the interface *(the project you just “pumped”)*.
2. **Import the private keys** of the wallets holding the token. You can paste them directly or upload a CSV file.
3. The tool will display how many **SOL** and **tokens** you have in each wallet. It will also automatically remove wallets with insufficient balances.
4. Click **"Bundle Sell"** and pay a small fee (0.005 SOL). The system will group the sell orders and execute them simultaneously.

At no point does the platform store your private keys. For added security, you can create a new wallet with the exact balance needed for the transaction.

### Your Community Has a Problem

Your Discord or Telegram is full of people who don't actually hold your token. Bots. Lurkers. Traders who dumped weeks ago but still have access to your alpha channels. You're giving away value to people who don't deserve it.

Meanwhile, your actual holders—the ones who've been riding with you for months—get the same access as someone who bought yesterday and will sell tomorrow.

**That's broken.**

### What Ancla Does

Ancla gates your community based on what people actually hold in their wallets, not what they claim. Tokens, NFTs, holding period—all verified on-chain from Solana.

But here's the difference: Ancla doesn't just check balances. It checks **conviction**.

How long have they held? How much have they accumulated? Are they active traders or diamond hands? Ancla lets you reward the real ones and filter out the noise.

**5-minute setup. Automatic verification. No more manual role assignments.**

### What You Want to Do?

**→ I run a community** (Discord or Telegram)\
You want to gate channels, assign roles automatically, and reward holders based on conviction. Start with the Community Owner Quickstart.

**→ I'm trying to verify my wallet**\
You got a verification link from a gated community. Here's what to do in the Holder Quickstart.

***

**Built for Solana. Works with tokens and NFTs. Free for communities under 25 members.**

# Quickstart

### Why Ancla Instead of \[Insert Tool Here]

**Collab.Land:** Only checks balance. Can't gate by holding period. Expensive at scale.\
**Guild.xyz:** Requires users to connect wallets manually every time. No conviction tracking.\
**Grape Protocol:** Solana-only, but limited to their ecosystem. No Telegram support.

**Ancla:** Balance + conviction + holding period. Works on Discord and Telegram. Starts free.

Real example: You can gate your "Diamond Hands" role to holders who've kept 5,000+ tokens for 60+ days. That's not just a balance check—that's proof they believe in what you're building.

### What You Need

\- A Discord server or Telegram group\
\- A Solana token (SPL) or NFT collection\
\- 5 minutes

### How Fast Is This?

**Setup:** 5 minutes\
**First verification:** Instant\
**Re-checks:** Automatic (you set the interval)

No coding. No wallet setup. No downloading anything.

### What Happens Next

1\. You connect Ancla to your Discord or Telegram\
2\. You define your gating rules ("1,000 tokens for Holder role, 10,000 for Whale")\
3\. Members verify their wallets with a signature (no gas, no transaction)\
4\. Ancla assigns roles automatically and re-checks on your schedule

**Your holders get access. Everyone else gets filtered out.**

# Setting up Ancla

This guide walks you through the full Ancla setup, from creating your community to going live with token gating on Discord and Telegram.

### Step 1 — Create your community

1. Go to ancla.club and log in
2. Click Create community
3. Enter your community name and basic details

### Step 2 — Connect your token or NFT

1. Select the Solana token (SPL) or NFT collection you want to gate by
2. Paste the token mint address or search by name
3. Ancla will verify the token exists on-chain

### Step 3 — Define gating conditions

1. Set the minimum balance required to pass verification
2. (Optional) Create tiers — e.g., Whale (10,000+), Holder (1,000+), OG (any amount held for 30+ days)
3. Configure conviction rules — what happens when someone sells below the threshold

### Step 4 — Publish

1. Review your gating setup
2. Click Publish
3. Copy the verification link — this is what you'll share with your community

### Step 5 — Connect Discord

1. Click Add to Discord and authorize the Ancla bot
2. Select your server
3. Map your gating tiers to Discord roles
4. Make sure the Ancla bot role is above the roles it needs to assign in your server's role hierarchy
5. Grant the bot Manage Roles permission

### Step 6 — Connect Telegram

1. Add the Ancla bot to your Telegram group
2. Make the bot an admin with permissions to restrict members
3. Link the group in your Ancla dashboard

### Step 7 — Test it

Run two tests before announcing to your community:

1. Pass test: Use a wallet that holds enough tokens. Verify → confirm the role/access is granted.
2. Fail test: Use a wallet that does NOT meet the threshold. Verify → confirm access is denied.

If both pass, you're live. Share the verification link with your community.

# FAQ

### Why did I lose access to a channel?

Most common reason: You sold below the required token threshold.

Ancla re-checks your holdings on a schedule (set by the community owner). If you no longer meet the requirements, you lose access automatically.

To regain access: Buy back enough tokens. You'll regain access on the next re-check.

### I hold enough tokens, but verification failed. Why?

Check these:

* Did you connect the right wallet? If you hold tokens in a different wallet, connect that one instead.
* Did you meet the holding period? Some communities require you to have held tokens for X days.
* Is your wallet balance up to date? If you just bought, wait a few minutes for the blockchain to confirm.

Still failing? Ask the community owner.

### Can I verify with multiple wallets?

It depends on the community. Some allow multi-wallet verification. Some don't (to prevent token pooling).

### How often does Ancla re-check my holdings?

The community owner sets the schedule. Common options:

* Every 6 hours (for active trading communities)
* Daily (most common)
* Weekly (for long-term holder communities)

### What data does Ancla store?

What Ancla stores:

* Your wallet address (to verify holdings)
* Your Discord/Telegram user ID (to assign roles)
* Verification timestamp
* Holding period data (from on-chain history)

What Ancla does NOT store:

* Your seed phrase (never entered, never asked for)
* Private keys
* Transaction history beyond public on-chain data

### Is my wallet safe?

Yes. Ancla asks you to sign a message (not a transaction). It reads your public on-chain balance. It does NOT approve token spending or move funds.

If any site asks for your seed phrase, it's a scam.

### What happens if I sell my tokens?

On the next re-check, you lose access. If you buy back before the re-check, you keep access.

### Do I need to verify again if I switch wallets?

Yes. Each wallet is verified separately.

### How do I contact support?

Community owners: Join the Ancla Discord or DM us on Twitter.\
Holders: Ask the community owner.

# Gate by Conviction

### The Problem with Balance-Only Gating

Most token gating tools check one thing: "Does this person hold X tokens right now?"

But that tells you nothing about conviction.

Someone could buy 10,000 tokens, get access to your alpha channel, screenshot everything, then dump 5 minutes later. They still had "10,000 tokens" when they verified.

Balance checks are a snapshot. Conviction is a story.

### What Is Conviction Gating?

Conviction gating means you don't just check what someone holds — you check how long they've held it.

Ancla looks at on-chain history and tracks:

* Holding period: How many days since they acquired the token/NFT
* Purchase date: When they first bought in
* Sell history: Whether they've dumped and rebought

This lets you separate real holders from tourists, diamond hands from day traders, OGs from newcomers.

### Real Conviction Recipes

Here are 4 proven gating strategies using conviction.

#### 1. OG Holders (Held 90+ Days)

Goal: Reward people who've been holding since the early days.

* Minimum balance: 1,000 tokens (or any amount)
* Holding period: 90+ days
* Role: "OG Holder" or "Early Believer"

Why it works: Filters out everyone who bought in the last 3 months.

#### 2. Whale Tier (10k+ Held 30+ Days)

Goal: Identify serious long-term holders with skin in the game.

* Minimum balance: 10,000 tokens
* Holding period: 30+ days
* Role: "Whale" or "Diamond Whale"

#### 3. Diamond Hands Club (No Sales in 60+ Days)

Goal: Find people who never sell, no matter what.

* Minimum balance: 5,000 tokens
* Holding period: 60+ days with no outbound transactions
* Role: "Diamond Hands"

#### 4. Active Traders (Bought in Last 7 Days)

Goal: Engage people who just bought in.

* Minimum balance: 1,000 tokens
* Holding period: Bought within the last 7 days
* Role: "New Holder"

### Mixing Balance + Conviction

Example multi-tier setup:

* Holder: 1,000 tokens (no time requirement) — Basic access
* Veteran: 1,000 tokens held for 30+ days — Mid-tier channels
* Diamond: 5,000 tokens held for 60+ days — VIP access
* Whale: 10,000 tokens held for 30+ days — Whale-only strategy room

### Why This Matters

Token gating without conviction is security theater.

Conviction gating is how you build a real community of believers.

Ancla is the only tool that gates by conviction at scale.

# Quickstart

You got a verification link from a gated community. Here's what happens next.

### Step 1: Click the Verification Link

You'll see a message like: "This channel is gated by token holdings. Click here to verify your wallet."

Click the link. It takes you to Ancla's verification page.

### Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

You'll be asked to connect your Solana wallet.

Supported wallets:

* Phantom
* Solflare
* Backpack
* Any Solana wallet with WalletConnect

Click Connect Wallet, choose your wallet, and approve the connection.

### Step 3: Sign the Message

After connecting, you'll be asked to sign a message.

This is NOT a transaction. You're not sending tokens. You're not paying gas. You're not approving anything.

You're just proving you own the wallet. Click Sign and you're done.

### Verified

If you meet the requirements (enough tokens, holding period, etc.), you get instant access. Roles are assigned automatically.

If you don't meet the requirements, you'll see a message explaining why.

### Is This Safe?

Yes.

What Ancla does:

* Checks your wallet balance (read-only, public on-chain data)
* Asks you to sign a message to prove you own the wallet
* Assigns Discord/Telegram roles based on what you hold

What Ancla does NOT do:

* Move your tokens (it's not a transaction)
* Charge gas fees (signing is free)
* Ask for your seed phrase (NEVER enter your seed phrase anywhere)
* Access your wallet beyond verification

Think of it like proving you have a ticket at the door. You show it, but you don't hand it over.

### What Happens After Verification?

Ancla will re-check your holdings periodically (the community owner sets the schedule).

If you still meet the requirements, you keep access. If you sell below the threshold, you lose access on the next re-check. If you buy back in, you regain access automatically.

### Need Help?

If verification fails, check:

* Did you connect the right wallet? (The one with the tokens)
* Do you meet the minimum balance?
* Do you meet the holding period? (Some communities require X days)

Still stuck? Ask the community owner.

That's it. Connect, sign, get access. No seed phrases. No gas. No risk.

# Troubleshooting

Common issues holders run into, and how to fix them.

### Verification failed, but I hold enough tokens

Check these:

* Did you connect the right wallet? If your tokens are in a different wallet, connect that one.
* Do you meet the holding period? Some communities require you to have held for X days. If you just bought, you may need to wait.
* Is your wallet balance up to date? If you just bought, wait a few minutes for the blockchain to confirm.

Still failing? Ask the community owner — they can check verification logs.

### I lost access to a channel

Most common reason: you sold below the required token threshold.

Ancla re-checks your holdings on a schedule (usually daily or weekly). If you no longer meet the requirements, you lose access automatically.

To regain access: Buy back enough tokens. You'll regain access on the next re-check.

### I sold and bought back, but still don't have access

Ancla re-checks on a schedule set by the community owner. If you sold and bought back between re-checks, you'll regain access on the next one.

Common re-check intervals:

* Every 6 hours
* Daily (most common)
* Weekly

### Can I use multiple wallets?

It depends on the community. Some allow multi-wallet verification. Some don't (to prevent token pooling). Ask the community owner.

### Is my wallet safe?

Yes. Ancla only asks you to sign a message (not a transaction). It reads your public on-chain balance. It does NOT approve spending, move tokens, or charge gas.

If any site asks for your seed phrase, it's a scam.

### I switched wallets. Do I need to verify again?

Yes. Each wallet is verified separately. If you moved tokens to a new wallet, verify the new one.

### How do I contact support?

Ask the community owner first — they have access to verification logs and can troubleshoot most issues.

For Ancla-specific issues, join the Ancla Discord or DM us on Twitter.
